QuidelOrtho (formerly Quidel) – Medical Diagnostics Manufacturing, Manufacturing Directors & Managers (6 team members)

In 2020, Quidel experienced an exponential increase in production demand due to a shift in organizational strategy, which resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic. We conducted a Discovery process and found that team members had low levels of psychological safety and needed support handling conflict effectively, giving and receiving feedback, and reframing mistakes as learning opportunities.

Ziksana delivered the PERFORM program over a period of 6 months. Services included 1:1 coaching, group coaching, and workshops. To help the team improve their psychological safety, we provided a combination of playful activities, discussions, and frameworks / tools to help team members learn new skills and improve team dynamics. The combination of individual coaching, group coaching, and workshops gave team members the opportunity to learn together while also receiving individualized support. 

As a result of our program for high-performing teams, there was a 60% improvement in accepting constructive feedback, a 40% improvement in handling conflict directly, and a 64% improvement in openly discussing how to learn from mistakes.

100% of participants agreed that the PERFORM program directly contributed to their team’s success in supporting the company’s exponential growth.
